Overview

Green Coffee - Diversion, located along Davao City’s Diversion Road in Matina Balusong, offers a refreshing coffee experience that blends spacious design with a cozy vibe. This coffee shop stands out not just for its size but for how well the space is crafted—to foster intimate conversations and casual business meetings alike. The balance of welcoming interiors and greenery makes it a perfect refuge from the city’s hustle.

The menu, though focused, champions quality over quantity. The Cafe Americano here delivers a full-bodied coffee experience that draws praise from both locals and visitors. Complementing the coffee are their standout desserts: the Chocolate Symphony Cheesecake and the Blueberry Ensaymada. The latter, in particular, has been described as a “heavenly” pairing with black coffee, elevating a simple coffee break into a small celebration of flavors.

Beyond coffee and sweets, Green Coffee offers a thoughtful selection of teas, including a refreshing Peppermint Tea for those looking for a warm, non-coffee alternative. While the food options remain limited, the breads and cakes are crafted to satisfy, making it an ideal spot for people who appreciate light bites alongside their drinks.

The atmosphere balances openness and intimacy with spacious seating and minimalistic yet inviting interiors. The presence of greenery indoors enhances relaxation, making it an excellent spot for book lovers and casual readers to unwind. On busy days, such as holidays, the surge of customers can test the flow, occasionally leading to longer wait times. However, the friendly and courteous staff work to maintain a welcoming environment throughout.

For travelers passing through or locals seeking a new coffee haunt, Green Coffee - Diversion offers ample parking and even a drive-thru option. It’s tailored for those who want to enjoy quality coffee and desserts in a calm setting—whether for a casual meetup, a quiet work session with reliable Wi-Fi, or a laid-back weekend treat.

In summary, Green Coffee - Diversion is a gem in Davao City that combines quality beverages, delightful pastries, and a well-designed space to create a memorable coffee shop experience. It appeals to a broad audience—from business professionals and friends catching up to solo visitors finding a peaceful spot to recharge.

Green Coffee is one of the largest coffee shops I have experienced in Davao City. The way it is designed makes it feel cozy and the noise level is good for a meeting or intimate conversation. The coffee is very full flavored and the warm chocolate drink was equally delicious. The cakes and dessert were wonderful my friends told me. Definitely a coffee shop to experience here. Free Wifi was very strong. There were 6 people in our group. We will come back again for sure. God Bless!!

Our go-to coffee break after lunch on Sundays. Refreshing surroundings with all the greens/plants around, esp. the interiors. Open, spacious, cozy spaces. Friendly & courteous staff. Good ambiance! Coffee and cakes are good! Worth a visit!

Good coffee place, sweets, pastries, cakes and meals are on their menu. Suggesting Management to take care of customer surge to avoid long lines and piled orders. It was a Thursday afternoon and a national holiday during our visit and it should have been anticipated to have lots of customers. Based on my experience, it took me more than 10minutes to line up, order and received our order after almost 30 minutes. Total of about 40minutes. On a positive note, food and coffee taste is great. Will i return to this place? Yes, because ambiance is great and because i love coffee and cake.

A nice coffee spot for a rendezvous. I chance to visit here during a road trip in Buda passing the diversion road. Its quite spacious, welcoming atmosphere and lovely and minimalistic interiors. The parking space is quite big too and its a drive thru coffee shop. I had Cafe americano, a decent cup but I will say their blueberry ensaymada is heavenly good. A good pair with black coffee. The staffs are ok, couldnt have been better if they can greet you more warmer All in all, a nice coffee to conduct business, meeting friends and substitute for overcrowd coffee places. A gem to find in Davao.
